Education Buying Group (EBG) is a not-for-profit, school-led Public Sector Buying Organisation (PSBO). We exist to help schools and trusts buy compliantly, save money and reinvest more into education.
Created by schools, for schools, EBG brings together collective buying power to deliver high-quality, compliant procurement solutions that protect schools from risk, volatility and rising costs.
Who are we?
The Education Buying Group is a Public Sector Buying Organisation (PSBO) consisting of Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs). We identify, design and deliver compliant buying solutions specifically for the Education Sector. That’s why we say, ‘for education, by education’.
Education Buying and ChurchMarketPlace work on behalf of Education Buying Group for access to frameworks and DPSs. Good procurement and social value are at the heart of what we do.
HOW WE WORK
Education Buying Group works in partnership with Education Buying and Churchmarketplace (for Catholic schools and trusts) – delivering EBG frameworks and DPSs to schools and supporting framework delivery and sector engagement.
This collaborative model ensures:
